About the Author
Rudy Leeman
Rudy is an avid private pilot who incorporated his love of flying into his career of teaching the handicapped child. Besides being a writer of historical novels in his retirement years, he was first a Lutheran parish pastor for 13 years; he secured his college degree with majors in math and industrial arts. That was followed by his Master’s degree after another 4 years of Seminary. He focused on history. He and his wife, Carol, were born in northern California. They met in his first parish, became a partnership in their marriage; it led in his retirement to take up historical novel writing.
Carol dumped a pile of resource material on his desk; he could not get to his computer until he entered it all into the hard drive. He ended up writing two historical novels immediately. Carol was his severest critic, having thrown out tens of thousands of words until he got it right. “Now! it’s good.” was heard when he did something right.
