About the Book

Mortal Sin, Crime and Fate
The Santore Story

The book is one story in three parts. Part 1 focuses on the abuse of women and examples of the sexual abuse of children in story form. Part 2 focuses on the international trafficking of children and how our hero, Brother Eduardo Santore, interacts in the destruction of one group of traffickers. Part 3 tells of how one child is rescued by Eduardo and his wife. It concludes the fight of Italians to unite their peninsula into one nation, Italia, how Eduardo is a part of it and his ultimate fate as Mafia sets out to kill him.

It is real history buried in a story of what is tragically real, the trafficking of children, the 2nd greatest crime in the world; only gun-running exceeds it by what is now a very small margin.

I have experienced observing the abuse of women since I was a child and through my multiple careers. My wife and I rescued numbers of children (in our careers) from the horrors of abuse and sexual terrors. We both have wanted the story to awaken the public so others will take action as possible to rescue children.

What sets my trilogy apart from other books is that it includes, in story form, the real suffering of children that has been a major crime throughout history for thousands of years. It also touches the hearts of the people of the peninsula who struggled for the major part of the 18th century to become one nation, Italia.
